I am using VMware Fusion 12 on macOS Big Sur. If i use smbios.reflecthost = "true" in my Windows VM vmx file, it shows the manufacterer as Apple and device as Macbook 13,1. That looks suspicious.

I would like to change that to any other like Dell or Hp and anything works other than Apple. Is it possible?

 

Thanks, i tried searching all over internet. The solution is to modify the bios.440.rom file, but i dont know how to extract that file in VMware Fusion 12 on macOS.

Win10 не использует Slic 2.x для активации
