All Windows 8 Information

Yes, I see "multiple edition"

And yes, it is logic that there are two versions, but I got only one key for this product. So, how one key can decides the edition?

My intent is to use this key (if it is Pro) on regular Win 8 Pro x86/x64, not on this N Debug/Checked bulid.

In that case I can use this key for activate regular Pro N build.

I had to do a fresh install of 8 and now I can't activate. This pretty much sucks, ofc. Anyways; what can I do or use to activate Win8 RTM? Do I have to go w/ Retail or VL? Any tool to go with?

I begging for help! Whats the best and fastest way to have an activated Windows 8 RTM? Thanks!

How ever, if you did a fresh install- tell me how you was activated before.

If you are on a compute that is OEM and came with Windows 8 then you should be able to activate OEM. If not, then you will need to install a VL copy of Pro/Enterprise and activate with KMS.

 

Was activated with ProfessionalWMC (Windows Media Center Pack).

As far as I know I have to have an activated Windows to install WMC w/ the provided key for that pack...

 

I assume that you don't have a legit pro key as well.
Very well. I will give instructions on how you can activate, but don't think of it as advice.

1) Install Win8Pro from the non-vl rtm
2) Activate with KMS using the gVLK and remove any activators
3) Run WUAPP.exe and click the add features button
4) Use your legit non-blocked upgrade key
5) Let the system reboot a few times to finish upgrade
6) Run "SLUI 4" to enter phone activation
7) Give the numbers in the activation window to Microsoft and say "One" if asked how many computers
8) Backup any successful activation so you don't have to do it again using Josh Cell Software's Tokens Manager

Nope...Enterprise already comes with gVLK preinstalled.

 

But you will need to activate it.

Everything is okay. Got Windows 8.1 working on my PC. Had the .NET Framework 3.5 problem AND I was dumb enough to upgrade instead of a clean install. ;]

Everytime a new build leaks I can't resist. ^^

 

For .NET 3.5 did you try:

Will wait here, until StartIsBack, AeroGlass by BM and UXStyle will support the RTM . Fortunately the Win 8 keys will work here .
