I think i got your idea now .

As Office 2013 activation is bound to Windows activation, where the latter introduces KMS V6 in build 9471, there is no way to activate Office 2013 until new KMS Emulator arises.

Still not answered: with what error dism breaks?

Hmm...did you try to enable it via WU?

NOTE: Nevertheless it won´t solve your Office activation problem! An KMS Emulator capable of using new V6 protocol is needed.

So which version of Windows 8.1 is the best? i.e. most features or future proof? read that some versions dont have wmc. Is that a big deal?

And does windows 8 run better than windows 7? Want to try on a PC that has 2gb ram

Used toolkit to activate it (pro vol) and it said successful but when right clicking my computer > properties, in the bottom right corner doesnt have the genuine logo. Is this normal?

 

It's normal as long as Windows doesn't nag you to activate. In case that isn't convincing, try this. WinKey+X -> Command Prompt (Admin) -> Type "slmgr -xpr" (without quotes, duh)
That will tell you how long activation will last. To get a lot more information, replace the xpr with dlv.
