I really get tired of my water bill !!! American Water - operates in California, Hawaii, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Missouri, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, and part of northern Georgia It's a weird thing to complain about, but complain I shall. It's due to a PFAS settlement. They keep charging me a dollar amount, I pay it within days, then they do a stupid "courtesy adjustment". Knocking my balance NEGATIVE. Been SEVERAL months in a row. Really STUPID if you ask me. The way I see it is that if they owe me a THOUSAND, then send me a check for a THOUSAND. Don't nickel and dime what is owed me TEN or so monthly for several months on end.
