    Greetings,

I have a very current AMI bios image that is 16MB in size. I need to change the ROMID in the BIOS .rom file. I used a hex editor to change it but broke the checksum and now AFUDOS will not flash the ROM because it says the FFS checksum is corrupt. No surprise.

Does anyone have the most recent AMIBCP or MMTool that will read/mod this current BIOS? I think it is an Aptio or AptioV based BIOS but not sure. As I said it is very new hardware/motherboard. (Dual socket Xeon Ivy Bridge motherboard).

The following utilities will not read in the .ROM image file:
    AMIBCP v3.46
    AMIBCP v3.51
    MMTool v3.22

I tried flashing the unmodifed BIOS to the motherboard using AFUDOS and the /X switch to bypass checking ROMID but the /X feature is either disabled or does not work in the AFUDOS executable I have.

    Thanks
