I.e. you want somebody to make a BIOS for IP35 PRO XE with 8.9.0.1023, right?
I'm not a modder either - post a link to original BIOS, I'm sure somebody will help you shortly.

Post a link to the stock BIOS of your choosing and I will create the BIOS for you with latest ROMs (and if you want SLIC 2.1, specify which manufacturer).

There is a replace option, try that and don't delete and insert.

Yep you should NOT delete and add new one, because it screws up with pointers and it does not find new option rom in this case, you should just replace...

Did anybody found some AHCI bios option rom? Just for AHCI support.
Except two Phoenix from Phoenix and one from Intel attached earlier.
I try to enable AHCI on my notebook, but after switching from legacy to ahci (using some tricks to rewrite pci registers) bios can't boot from fixed disk.

    @genuineintel:

You can add to your comments:
Intel Raid 8.9.1.1002 works too with may ASUS P5Q boards.
I tested with Premium, Deluxe, -E, -EM and SE/R (several months with 3disks RAID5 and 2disks RAID0 configs)

Same for Yukon PXE 6.60.2.3 (Premium, Deluxe, -E) -> SE/R has Atheros, -EM has Realtek
Same for Marvell 1.1.0.L72a (Premium, Deluxe, -E, -EM, SE/R)

Are there some modules around for SteelVine Sil5723 newer than 1.2.59? That "DriveXpert" Bios doesn't support RAID0 with HDDs over 1TB!
2 * 1,5 TB disks = 7,5 TB in BIOS and Windows are shown.

Is the above Realtek NIC PCIe module useable on my P5Q-EM (1Gb-Realtek LAN)?

Is 1.1.0.L73 bad for them? /found in some of new asus bioses under 1156/
How to determine f/w current version of SiI chip (im not using it on my P5Q) thru Stillvine manager or DriveXpert soft only? Anyway, can't believe noone yet contacted to asus or/and SiliconImage regarding this problem(

Asus sucks releasing new bioses for "old good 775" - this week new P5Q 2208 with old Option ROM f/w inside (iMSM - 8.0, marvell ..L70d). Just they can't make automated builds with new f/w modules( too bad

L73 is not recognized in P5Q boards. Different filesize, P5Q has no RAID part in it for Marvell. And I don't know how to splitt L73 to get rid of RAID part.

I have contacted ASUS and SiliconImage several times, no response to normal customers. And members of ASUS Vip Board can't help too.
You can determine Sli5723 Bios via SteelVine or DriveXpert. It's 1.2.59 in all modern Bioses, and all have same problem with 1.5TB Disks in Raid0 (Maybe 2.0TB disks too, have not yet one...)

I am not talking about partitions and bootablility.
    I don't want to boot from Sil5723 RAID0.
    I have following config:
    - Marvell IDE:
Master = IDE SSD 64 GB for Windows 2008 R2 Standard Server (Boot)
    Slave = IDE DVD Burner
    - Intel ICH10R:
    6x 1.5 TB Sata2 HDDs in Raid5 (working area)
    - Sil5723:
    2x 1 TB Sata2 HDDs in Raid0
    2x 1 TB Sata2 HDDs in Raid0
(and again Raid0ed in Windows to get a 4 TB partition) => for minor important data)

Backups go over Lan (4x 1Gbit Adapters teamed)

When at Sil5723 two 1 TB HDDs are attached all is fine and BIOS shows 2 TB Virtual HDD,
when at Sil5723 two HDDs at 1.5 TB each are attached, BIOS shows 7.5 TB Virtual HDD, and disks are not editable/accessable after bootup in Windows.
It's not a partitioning problem, it's a recognizing problem from BIOS.

So back to topic.. I only asked, if someone knows a newer bios for Sil5723, which recogs bigger HDDs.

Since the GENE has two Bios chips it would not matter if it does not work, since the second bios would just take over. But my RunLoc was not changed by the replacement of the option rom. It is 8086:2822 before and after. So something went wrong with you.
