If you have a Pioneer DVR-215 or 216, try to move it from the ICH10R/PCH to the Marvell/JMicron SATA controller. This is a known issue with Intel RST 10.x.

Hello everyone, I have a gigabyte GA-H57M-USB3 with Award BIOS, you have a BIOS ROM modified for my motherboard?
Or how can I think the ROM upgrade to my bios?
    Thanks

    Hey Guys,

I've got a P5E3 WS Pro board currently on Bios v8030 and have tried to replace the ROM with both the v8.5.0.1030 and v8.9.0.1023. Somehow none of the ROMs mentioned load, I get a blank screen and the board just continues to load the Marvell RAID.

Any Ideas? If anyone has one of those working and could point me in the right direction that would be great.

P.S. for the record the original ROM in the file is only 64K is that makes a difference.

    Cheers,

    Hey,
as i have the problem with my SSD (OCZ Vertex 2) and my ASUS Blitz Formula (Special Edition) with the latest Bios (1601) the SSD isn't recognized by the SATA ICH9R controller after the first boot (cold start) as it is still the version 7.5.X.

For the bios-mod of my board with an Intel P35/ICH9R chipset i took for exchange of my 7.5.X SATA controller version the 8.6.X version of a posted bios-mod for Rampage Extreme with Intel X48/ICH9R chipset.
Is there a difference of the SATA controller versions between the two chipsets (P35 and X48)?
In addition the newer SATA controller version is bigger (77K) than the original one (64k).

    Thanx

    Hey Guys,

    My little BIOS Mod Request:

    Motherboard: P5E3 WS PRO
    BIOS: 0803
SLIC: None but if someone can include one that would be great.

    Original BIOS
    hxxp://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/socket775/P5E3_WS_Professional/0803.zip

Need Option Rom 8.9.0.1023 or whatever works for this board. When I tried I cannot get the ROM to display, I get no Ctrl+I option when RAID is enabled.

    Cheers,

If anyone could mod me a BIOS with latest Intel Storage and LAN ROM, as well as updated JMicron IDE and Marvell SATA3 ROM that would be awesome!
Most importantly is the Intel Storage ROM!

Does anybody have Intel Storage ROM 8.6.0.1007? I want to see if it works on my abit IP35 Pro - anything newer than 8.5.0.1030 doesn't work (throws HARDWARE_UNKNOWN error if in RAID operation mode) and I want to see if 8.6 would work.

What was the crux of the problem and how did you solve it?

I'd like to try it as well.

It is used on many BIOS for Intel boards, but didn't find a way to extract the module (EFI Unpacker doesn't work properly).
