If it's 8Mb/1MB EEPROM it surely won't... but who knows

    i4u1,
can you reupload 11.0.0.1124.bin please? Download several times, and cannot unpack archive due to "unexpected end of archive" error.

If you are referring to file 20_2822_0_11.0.0.1124.zip - there is nothing wrong with it. Try closing all Internet browser windows & clearing the cache.

    Then download the file again...

Interesting, could this be the reason Intel ROM 10.5.xxx -> not work on some mobos? How to check it?

I tested ASUS P6T DELUXE BIOS 2209 with new Intel OROM 11.0.0.1124 but motherboard didn't work.
It was impossible to boot, only blinking cursor.
Reflashed BIOS, back to normal condition.
Latest working one is OROM 10.1.0.1008
Anyone can test it more? Thanks!

I tried to insert ASUS EZ-FLASH 2 Rev.4.24 but module didn't load anymore, so I reflashed to previous version 3.28

    Have fun!

I have tested all revisions of Intel OROM (starting from 10.5.X to 11.0.0.1124) on my Asus Rampage 2 Extreme without success. BTW if anybody is interested I can upload to RS of HF the latest version of BIOS for R2E (revision 2002) modded by me with following modules:
    - Intel OROM 10.1.0.1008
    - Marvell Yukon 88E8056 PXE 6.60.2.3
    - JMicron JMB36X 1.07.28
    - EZFlash 2 3.46
    - ASUS Notebook SLIC 2.1

    Could I safely replace EZ-Flash 3.44 with 3.46 on my Asus P6X58D-E?

Yes you can try, i think you'll have success. If no go the module will not load.
Don't worry, you will not create problems to your motherboard.

I think is impossible to update from 3.28 to 4.24 of EZ FLASH 2 because different flash ROM.
I just did so without success.

EzFlash 3.46 worked good on Asus P6X58D-E. Now, I just can get Intel OROM newer than 10.1.xxx working on it... I'll accept hints, please...

I got an ASUS P8P67-M Pro board (which has EFI) with the 10.1 RAID BIOS and would like to upgrade to 10.6 or 11.0, I tried using mmtool for AMI Aptio but it produces empty image files...
How are you guys doing it? :)

I did exactly as described, but mmtool (version 4.2.0.17 or something like that) creates a bios file with 0 bytes size...

You can insert the new Intel OROM with HxD. You have to change the prefix(length) before the new OROM inserted.
But I think there are some CRC check values for the complete ROM module that Andy's tool does not adjust.
    Awaiting your experience.

I hope you can recover from a bad flash!!
