Here it is last update of ASUS P6T-Deluxe 2209 modded BIOS. This BIOS tested and working. Includes: - Intel Rapid Storage 10.1.0.1008 (last working) maybe anyone tested more revisions? - Marvell 88SE61xx 1.1.0.L75(No RAID) SATA-PATA Controller - Marvell Lan PXE 6.68.1.3 - ASUS SLIC2.1 - ASUS SLP - ASUS Certificate Download Here: e-mail me to "lucageos @ libero.it" for infos, here it is the link " http: //w w w . m e g a u p l o a d . c o m / ? d = O 5 8 Z R 5 H O " I tried to insert ASUS EZ-FLASH 2 Rev.4.24 but module didn't load anymore, so I reflashed to previous version 3.28 Have fun!
I have tested all revisions of Intel OROM (starting from 10.5.X to 11.0.0.1124) on my Asus Rampage 2 Extreme without success. BTW if anybody is interested I can upload to RS of HF the latest version of BIOS for R2E (revision 2002) modded by me with following modules: - Intel OROM 10.1.0.1008 - Marvell Yukon 88E8056 PXE 6.60.2.3 - JMicron JMB36X 1.07.28 - EZFlash 2 3.46 - ASUS Notebook SLIC 2.1
Yes you can try, i think you'll have success. If no go the module will not load. Don't worry, you will not create problems to your motherboard. I think is impossible to update from 3.28 to 4.24 of EZ FLASH 2 because different flash ROM. I just did so without success.
EzFlash 3.46 worked good on Asus P6X58D-E. Now, I just can get Intel OROM newer than 10.1.xxx working on it... I'll accept hints, please...
I got an ASUS P8P67-M Pro board (which has EFI) with the 10.1 RAID BIOS and would like to upgrade to 10.6 or 11.0, I tried using mmtool for AMI Aptio but it produces empty image files... How are you guys doing it?
I did exactly as described, but mmtool (version 4.2.0.17 or something like that) creates a bios file with 0 bytes size...
You can insert the new Intel OROM with HxD. You have to change the prefix(length) before the new OROM inserted. But I think there are some CRC check values for the complete ROM module that Andy's tool does not adjust. Awaiting your experience. I hope you can recover from a bad flash!!
Ok so phoenix tools extracted the bios into several .ROM files, one of which contains the RAID OROM but it's in the middle of that file, ending at 0003E810 and followed by the PXE ROM but the new OROM would need space until about 00047000 which means I would have to move the other stuff around. This thing is getting too risky... I guess I will have to wait and hope ASUS will give my board some love and update the RST OROM soon.
Hi, the link to ROM 20_2822_0_11.0.0.1124.zip is working, but ROM inside is broken (may be compressed or smth else), however the normal one (11.0.0.1124) is working on my Gigabyte X58A-UD3R rev.2 with bios FH1-JZ (you can find modded bios on station-drivers.com site) Good luck!
And now show me the byte number where they're different. Identical files. Now write here how you managed to screw identical files for others to avoid same result with you.
I tryed the last Intel RST 11.0.0.1124 linked to this thread on ASUS P6T-DELUXE 2209 Modded BIOS and this time computer booted and loaded windows normally. Performance increased. This is possible only if you set SATA controller as AHCI. When you set SATA controller as RAID intel pop-up menĂ¹ don't load (CTRL+I don't work) and only blinking cursor suggested to me to reflash BIOS to previous version. Back to normal. I don't know how is possible to insert new Intel ROM in this board succesfully... may be Intel need to release a new rom?
I am sorry, they are really identical, I did not understand at first, that your file twice archived =)) So, now we have 2 working links to identical ROMs! Good luck!
