This is the PCI ROM for the 4 Series Chipset Integrated Graphics Controller.
But there are surely other loaded PCI ROMs. If not, than the Intel RAID ROM was not loaded. That means, the HDD runs in IDE or AHCI mode.

You can made a bootable usb stick with dos, or use Ez-flash built in your bios...

Please post the download link with XXX as prefix. replace http with hxxp or ftp with fxp for example.

Thanks for looking into this. If you would, go ahead and upload the changed bios. We will see if we can get it tested.

Thanks again. I will try and keep you posted.

AFAIK Intel has withdrawn the RAID ROM version 11.0.0.1124 some weeks ago.

    @ jaspen:
    1. Why do you want to risk a bad flash by using a mainboard BIOS, which has been modded with that RAID ROM version?
    2. Do you have any problems with Intel's RAID ROM v10.6.0.1091?
    3. Which Intel RST driver version are you running?
    4. Do you have an Intel RAID system at all?

OCZ is convincing everyone that OROM 11 is a part cure to the Sandforce22xx BSOD issues. So, lots of people are wanting to test OROM 11 to see if they can get their drives stable. Supposely, others have modded the Gigabyte boards, along with other brands, with 11 and gained stability. There was talk of several manufacturers, excluding asus, that were about to release OROM 11 in their next build.

If you could find info on Intel withdrawing this version i would be interested in posting it on OCZ's board.

I use 10.6.0.1002 drivers currently. Was going to be doing a rebuild soon to do one last test before requesting a refund for the product.

Besides the SSD, i do run a RAID on some magnetic disks.

You may look into the Solid State Drives Forum at forum.corsair.com, search for the thread "Reappearing issue: raid drive unresponsive" and read post No 4.

I will read up on the recovery thread before attempting a flash. I want to thank both of you guys for your help and input. Hopefully everything turns out ok and perhaps solves some problems for a couple of people.

    Thanks again.

Intel has changed, but not withdrawn, version 11.0.0.1124 to version 10.6.0.1091 for following reasons:
Following is an excerpt from the BIOS Update Release Notes
    BIOS Version 0029 - DBZ6810H.86A.0029.2011.0811.1134

    BIOS Version 0029 - DBZ6810H.86A.0029.2011.0811.1134
    About This Release:
    • Date: August 11, 2011

    • SATA RAID Option ROM: v10.6.0.1091

    New Fixes/Features:

    • Fixed issue where system hangs when accessing RAID option ROM with certain RAID CARDS.

I interpret this as follows, there are problems with some Intel RAID CARDS and version 11.0.0.1124 ROM, but there is nothing said about problems with the various RAID supporting Southbridges.

    @ mynameistpx:
That is very interesting news, because there are already "Intel(R) Rapid Storage Technology Enterprise Edition" (RSTe) drivers v3.0.0.1086 dated 06/21/2011 available at Station-Drivers.com and these drivers are running fine with all Intel Southbridges from ICH7R/M up (only exception: ICH8R/M AHCI sytems).
Obviously Intel has stopped the development regarding the Rapid Storage Technology. Instead of continuing the One-Driver-for-Everything strategy (iaStor.sys), they have started a completely new RSTe driver development line using more than 1 AHCI resp. RAID driver.
I am not sure regarding the related RAID ROM module, but the RSTe drivers v3.0.0.1086 do definitively support P55 and H67/P67/Z68 chipsets.

Intel only changed the architecture of the Rapid Storage Technology driver and went a new way.
    They split iaStor.sys in iaStorF.sys and iaStorA.sys.

IaStorF.sys is (following is an excerpt of all inf files in AHCI folder)

    ;
    [iaStorF_addreg]
; Layer the RST Filter driver under all Disk class devices as a lower disk class filter
    ;
    HKLM, System\CurrentControlSet\Control\Class\{4d36e967-e325-11ce-bfc1-08002be10318}, LowerFilters, 0x00010008, iaStorF

Both drivers(iaStorF.sys and iaStorA.sys) are referenced in all inf files(iaAHCI, iaAHCIC, iaStorA, iaStorAC) of the AHCI folder.
There is also a SCU folder which contains the drivers for the SAS RAID controller cards, but that's another story.

If Intel stops supplying Intel Rapid Storage(version10.XX or version 11.XX) has to be seen.
But it seems to me, they will go the new way with splitting iaStor.sys into 2 drivers.
