    Hi, is there anyone that can help me mod the latest bios for Asus Rampage III Gene?

    I've fiddled a bit with MMTOOL but I can't update the full Marvell firmware, only the Marvell BIOS (and intel raid controller, as it is easy to find in that program, (ID 2822)).

    -Motherboard Manufacturer and Model : Asus Rampage III Gene
    -Bios Revision : 1003
    -Bios Type : AMI
    -Bios/Firmware Links : <pm me>

    Please PM me if you can help so I can give you the links, as I can't post them when I have less than 20 posts.

    Thanks in advance.

    Asus released a new bios for the P6T Deluxe V2, version 1202, which can be found on their site.

    It would be awesome if someone took the time to mod it with Intel OROM 10.1 (and, perhaps, with latest Marvell firmware) :)

    From what I understand OROM versions > than 10.1 do not work properly on this motherboard, is this correct?

    Hi again,

    I just wanted to let you all know of my "research" with a Hex Editor. I compared all the files and came to this conclusion, where the first file names are from the Marvell package and the -> to XX is where they go in MMTool after verifying the code in the existing Asus bios:

    9123B -> place20 (bios, easy)
    program0 -> placeE7 (firmware?)
    program1 -> ?
    autoload.bin -> placeE6 (not sure)
    autoload.bin_60b -> ?
    DSRAM_DATA -> ?
    LOADER -> ?

    The ? are those I couldn't find in E7 or E6. Perhaps there are yet more bits and pieces needed?

    I used copy/paste in the Hex Editor, carefully replacing only old code and successfully built a BIOS file with MMTool. However, the Marvell firmware didn't get updated, only the bios (again).
    It booted OK, however, and works fine. So I am not sure. I think this is my limit when it comes to this sort of stuff.

    Some input would be awesome.

    Is 1.07.28 the latest OROM version for JMicron JMB363?

    Do Realtek PCI-E GBe OROMs work for 8110SC (PCI Gigabit)?

    Intel OROM 11.5.0.1111 and driver 11.5.0.1109 (look at station-drivers.com) seems to be Alpha versions and were released in August 2011.
    ww.station-drivers.com/telechargement/intel/sata/11.5.htm Look at known issues, this kit causes BSODs sometimes.

    Since the last Intel RST v11.x.x.xxxx series drivers and RAID OROM versions have been accomplished already in June/July and we haven't seen any WHQL certified v11 driver yet, I believe, that Intel has decided to split their AHCI and RAID driver and RAID OROM development lines:
    1. RSTe drivers and RAID OROMs for Intel C600 and X79 series chipsets (actual: v3.0.0.2003 WHQL drivers and v3.0.0.1184 OROM) and
    2. RST drivers and RAID OROMs for all the other Intel chipsets from ICH7R/M up (actual: v10.8.0.1003 WHQL driver and v10.8.0.1303 OROM).

    Except for my Asus P6X58D-E, wich doesn't boot in raid mode with OROM newer than 10.1.0.1008...

    Did you try the Intel RAID ROM v10.8.0.1013, and if yes, where did you get it?

    Hi everyone,

    first post and first noob question ...

    Can it be possible to use SSD Caching technology from z68 on a x58 mobo (p6t deluxe V2) :p

    I've tried to inject an intel mod file witg mmtools and ... black screen at raid menu.

    Hopefully, i've got an eeprom programmer so i've restored my backup bios..

    Just disconnect drives, boot into bios and select IDE or AHCI.
    Then reflash bios with workin orom.

    If you can't go into bios, reset CMOS (jumper or removing battery).
    BIOS defaults to IDE...

    Not even the newest BIOS 0402 for the ASUS P8Z68-V-PRO_GEN3 contains it. It's still v10.6.0.1091. I just have checked it.
