Why EZ Flash and OC Profiles utility can't be accessed by bios config screen after flashing modded bios?
OMG this was the best guide!!!! why did you remove it??? It was the only post on the net that helped me! please put it back up! It was very appreciated by me at least!
What do you want to replace: The Intel AHCI OROM or the Intel RAID OROM? If you have an AMI Aptio UEFI BIOS and want to replace the Intel RAID OROM version, you have to do it within the file named "CSMCORE". The GUID, where the Intel RAID OROM is situated, begins with the block A062CF1F. After having successfully replaced the RAID OROM module within the CSMCORE section, the files named "AHCI", "SBIDE" and "SBAHCI" will automaticly be updated.
from where you have the download? i use google but i canĀ“t find any download for the Intel OROM 11.0.0.1339
I do not have download now, there are no motherboard bios with this latest final ROM to extract, yet, waiting for...
The Intel RST RAID OROM v11.0.0.1339 is available and I have it already uploaded. Unfortunately I am not able to give you the link within this forum, because I haven't enough posts.
Can someone explain how to add those new realtek and intel oroms into my bios? I'm using cbrom with a gigabyte award bios, but everytime I do a /release and /pci to add the new modules, I always get a checksum error when attempting to flash through qflash
^ Homeless, You will probably need to use FlashSPI to Flash if it is the same Version BIOS that you already Flashed. I've updated mine on my GA-P55A-UD4P vF14 BIOS quite a few times and they have all worked without issue using FlashSPI.
I was using cbrom32 v1.98, but someone suggested I switch to another version and that seemed to work. I no longer get qflash checksum errors when using cbrom 2.20
Thanks Fernando Great guide for usint this tool. Would be also nice to add the other most updated OROM that can be used - either by UEFI and legacy bios. The files attached here looks like old for now ... and a little bit difficult to organize!
Which "most updated OROM" versions should I add to my guide? Since you are writing "here", you certainly mean this Forum, am I right?
Yeah ... I mean this forum MDL ... The OROMs here attached, does not follow any order. You have to look over 94 pages to find files - and most of the time, for newbies - files does not add any kind of note, for you to understand when it was released / changelog - and etc. A "First Page", with most updated things - thats include a guide like you did with uefi - and download links for: Intel OROM Jmicron Marvel Realtek Compiled in right order - would be great - as a "big" source of information. Maybe we could also help with already patched bios. I`ve started something like it in Portuguese - but only with the already bios patched. Didn't had time to write a guide on how to do it for others ...
