Anyone know which Modules the other OROMs are in, within an ASUS AMI EFI Bios ? Marvell, Realtek, etc ?
Fernando 1 Upload please Bios 2209 for Asus P6Tdeluxe V1 with Orom 10.1.0.1008 with raid and other update modules. Please write the version that was used and was changed. Thanks
Why don't you try it yourself? When I wrote the guide about how to do it, it was not my intention to modify the BIOS files of all Forum users, who are asking for a BIOS with updated PCI ROM modules.
Hi. Im not have skill for this i read manual but i think i cant do this self, and I am afraid to make something not correctly and have brick. But i remember u make version bios and say - who want downloand this request to email. Special for me not need make bios if u not want this, upload please "old" version for this motherboard. But if u have some time u can make version with new available modules except Intel Orom need work version 10.1.0.1008 and this can download not only me, other people who want too. I cant write in PM because need 5 post.
Where in the bios did you find it? I can't see it. Maybe they've changed the file in the mean time. Can you upload the bios file you have. The checksum of the one I downloaded are: MD5: 1a4b4d277c302ee58c439b87efcfab8e SHA-1: 468f2c26f852a0cd5d0daab3aa381631e68f2290 SHA-256: 856be43d41cc27ca0fd8c0ef5a811226ce5cd4cce851d4ad1a1d622954c0a7d8 and as I said the rom isn't there.
Intels Raid Rom is in Intels Motherboard BIOS embedded. So you have to extract that orom or download from 2nd published link.
@stasio Thank you ASUS Sabertooth X58 BIOS 1304, Windows 7 SP1 x64 2 x OCZ Agility 3 60GB RAID0 ICH10R - OS 2 x Seagate ST31000528AS RAID0 ICH10R - Data Upgraded from 11.0.0.1339 to 11.1.0.1413. Windows could not boot and repair procedure did not fix (bad luck ?). SSD RAID0 has been created with 11.0.0.1339. Safe erase both SSDs, recreate RAID0 and reinstall Windows. In ATTO write performance is a little bit better than 11.0.0.1339.
It'll be nice if you _re-read_ my post especially the part where I say "Where in the bios did you find it? I can't see it. Maybe they've changed the file in the mean time."
Hi, I have wondered whether upgrading Marvell / Intel RST Option ROM / Other Modules can help me solve my long-botting problems. I have a Pioneeer DVD-RW Optical Drive, which when connected to the SATA 2/3 Intel ports on the M/B, botting is being halt on Dr.Debug code "B2" for about 15 seconds. This is huge - It takes about 25 seconds to just get Windows to start booting! I've being able to minimize the total boot time to about 15 seconds by connecting the optical drive to the SATA3 Marvell port and then set "Bootable" to "Disabled", but this is still a long time to finish POST, and I even can't boot using my optical drive. Also, when my Logitech Unifiying adapter it connected, POST time increases another 5 seconds (halts on "A3"). Will upgrading OROM help fix that? M/B; ASRock Z68 Extreme4 I extracted some OROMS using PhoenixTools but I don't know what to do next. Thank you! Edit: I've sucessfully upgraded the Marvell OPROM from 1.0.0.1027 to 1.0.0.1029 and the Intel RST OPROM from 10.6.xxx to 11.5.0.1111, added an ASUS 2.1 SLIC and unlocked some BIOS menus / features. I can upload it if anybody needs it.
