AMI BIOS save settings

    AMIBIOS Simple Setup Utility version 1.21.12

    Could someone please tell me how to save changes to the BIOS.

    I've tried:
    F10, power off, power on
    F7, power off, power on
    F6, power off, power on
    F5, power off, power on
    (Shift) F2, power off, power on
    arrow down to EXIT,enter, power off, power on
    ESC, power off, power on

    I'm trying to change the boot sequence from Floppy, IDE, CD-ROM to Floppy, CD-ROM, IDE.

    it is usually DELETE key when you want to enter setup.
    F8 is usually pressed when you want to boot a device without changing the order.
    and when you want to save changes, press ESC, then press ESC again, then it should show you a list, like if you want to save settings, discard changes ETC.
    Press enter to save changes, and VOILA!

    Thanks for the reply.

    I was about to try it again tonight but when I got in this time I found that the darkness enabled me to see what I couldn't see today...descriptions for each key. Needless to say, it made a BIG difference.

    All is good now...The F10 was save and exit.
