I have a Win 7 Ultimate iso which I need to activate using KMS_VL_ALL but the iso needs to be a VL one and not Retail one. Is there a way to change license type. I tried using C2R R2V but that appears to work only for office products. The iso that I downloaded above seems to be genuine though I downloaded them from other sites. Are Windows 7 Ultimate VL editions iso available for download. All the old links from the forums and Microsoft appear to be dead.
I intend to use Windows Loader eventually. However I was just curious if there was a way to convert licenses, like Office.
@zio876 The answer is still no for Ultimate (as explained by @Mr.X). Professional is the only Windows 7 SKU that officially supports OEM, retail, and volume licensing channels. There exist OEM channels for Enterprise as well, but they are more of a placeholder.
Thnx for replies. But VL can be done for for enterprise successfully.? Also are there any ways to get original Win7 Enterprise or Professional ISOs?
Original Windows 7 ISOs contain all Editions except Enterprise: Starter (32bit only), Home Basic, Home Premium, Professional, Ultimate. However, there is a small file (ei.cfg) in the ISO spoiling the meal. You need to remove it. https://www.mydigitallife.net/creat...ction-on-install-with-ei-cfg-removal-utility/ Enterprise is not aboard.
Thanks for link. But the utility, when ran gave an error that no 'ei.cfg' file was present.II also tried searching in source folder of iso but couldn't find it.

Anyways, I succeeded in downloading a copy of Win 7 Enterprise en_windows_7_enterprise_with_sp1_x64_dvd_u_677651.iso I hope this should work.

That ISO should never have been made available to the public by MSFT, it's a very bad intern project.
Using KMS_VL_ALL, I am getting error. Product activation is failed - 0xC004F035. I am using Acer Aspire One D260 laptop with Intel Atom Processor ~1.66 GHz with 2GB RAM. I tried the ISO on Windows 10 running a virtual machine and was able to activate it. Can anyone help me with any suggestions..
1. Run the tool. 2. Press "Continue" to perform the diagnostics. 3. When done, press "Copy". It will copy the complete report into the Clipboard. 4. Open a new empty text document and CTRL+V paste the report in. 5. Look at the bottom for "OEM Activation 2.0 data". Should look like this: Code: OEM Activation 2.0 Data--> BIOS valid for OA 2.0: yes Windows marker version: 0x20001 OEMID and OEMTableID Consistent: yes If it shows anything different here (marker version could be higher which is OK) you need to mod the BIOS (or use a pre-modded one).
