No, as long as it can be devided by 16 its alright. The "by 16 and 100" rule is nonsense. Why wouldn't they just say "by 400" then? Also Windows 8 originally would be build 8888 until they where pointed to the fact it couldn't be devided by 16 (and it obviously can be devided by 100). So no, it's every 16, not every 400.
im confused about something. they originally stated that by reserving it. your system will download windows 10 before the 29th. and then on the 29th it will allow to install. but now reserving doesnt mean crap. because now it states that it will allow you download after the 29th but may not get it until august 1 to download it. 4 DAYS LATER!!!!
Firstly, MS never said that user's device will download win10 before Jul 29, I have mentioned in an earlier post that this is not the way MS do things... it was just some blogger's fantasy. Terry didn't say if you reserve win10, you could only upgrade until Aug 1, if I understand his blog correctly, the release will be in waves on and after Jul 29, Insiders being in the first wave(s), so it depends on how MS monitors the traffic. In fact, it's the Enterprise and Edu editions that would only be available on Aug 1.
Well My prediction for relese will be 10180RTM 19th july relese to RTM inital then 10200RTM on the 29th july public we shall see
Seems this time Microsoft found an almost 'hackproof' technique to prevent the very early leaks, by providing beta versions to general public and not developing any RTM version before the official launch date
10190 or 10195, because before month the build was 10130 and now 10162 (30 numbers approximately). but it can jump to 10200.
Windows Vista RTM 6000 + 1600 = 7600 Windows 7 RTM 7600 + 1600 = 9200 Windows 8 RTM 9200 + 1600 = 10800 Windows 10 RTM
I would but it's a prediction , a stab in the dark, and when have you ever known microshaft to do what they say they are going to do like a game i know lol
