why is there an entire thread dedicated to finding about final build number I believe it doesn't matter or does it?
I don't understand why mods closed a thread about a possible leaked rtm date (because of rumors). This thread is the same (just a bunch of useless rumors and posts). Wonder why it hasn't been closed
simple answer: close a thread with only few posts or do it with a big one with valuable content > guess
negative: a thread with a lot more blabla contains a lot more essential data for the all of us, even if it is only small for many but big for an individual you recall Armstrong who allegdatly was on moon: small step for mankind but giant leap for clowns, or similar
Because the mods knows well that nobody could pin-point a sign-off date, MS only target at a "period", and even so it had been pushed 2~3 times, the initial target was "early to mid June". If WZor had asked his OEM friend, or took a google search about RTM sign-off procedure(there's a lot of article about it), he wouldn't have posted his click-bait fairy tale about July 9, even if he hit luck, it's a total fluke. If you think the posts in this thread are "useless", it's your personal opinion, a lot of members(including Daz and Yen) had discussed earlier about activation, upgrade and RTM numerology in this thread. Update: Ooops, sorry, WZor, no luck this time, maybe better luck next time when you try to guess GDR1 sign-off date.
LOL, everybody guessed wrong. Btw, could a mod/admin edit the title? Tks Anticipating Windows 10 RTM Build 10176, GA Jul 29.
RTM. RTM. RTM. Notice that "16384" instead of "0" at the end of build number, which is a strong evidence of it's being a RTM candidate.
I wouldn't rush so quickly. It's probably just the first of the candidates - just like the 5840 of Vista, and the 726x of Windows 7, and hell, even the 85xx and 8888 of Windows 8. There'll probably be another couple of builds and another jump yet. th2 has been around a while, the th standing for threshold (Windows 10 codename) and the 2 indicating the second release, possibly Redstone. th1 is just going to be the first release of Threshold - ie RTM.
Nah, Mr. hounsell, they had a bad lesson in choosing 8888, so 10176 is fixed (it's multiple of 16), if the 1st candidate 16384 fails, then the next one would be just a higher delta. Btw, tks for the good and hard work in BuildFeed.
I'm buying that Faikee (am still at loggerheads with you re: the MSA activation thing tho' LOL) ...BTW are RTM's signatured? Just wondering as WZT get panicky releasing those builds...
