Get ready! MS has just changed my BranchName to TH1 Code: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsSelfHost\Applicability] "FlightingOwnerGUID"="d4e41713-310d-4f3f-a8d8-6d7aa2346969" "EnablePreviewBuilds"=dword:00000002 "Ring"="WIS" "BranchName"="TH1" "UserPreferredBranchName"="TH1" "RingBackup"="WIF" "ThresholdRiskLevel"="low"
if they push it out as an esd..who knows what they will be doing this time as they are testing the production roll out and nobody knows what that will be yet.
My 10166. When I was preparing for 39 ESDs fetching job, I noticed that it changed automatically without any update patch. Then I tried and tried to revert it back to fbl_impressive manually, and it just went back to TH1 for either Fast/Slow rings, and with/without a restart.
I boot up my PC today (~4 hours ago) build 10166 x64 Pro and have: Code: Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsSelfHost\Applicability] "FlightingOwnerGUID"="de46e361-48ed-4b42-a98d-f79a38a86ba1" "EnablePreviewBuilds"=dword:00000002 "Ring"="WIF" "RingBackup"="WIS" "ThresholdRiskLevel"="low" "ThresholdOptedin"=dword:00000001 "BranchName"="TH1" "UserPreferredBranchName"="TH1"
command prompt as admin, enter this. Code: reg query "hklm\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsSelfHost\Applicability" it will show you what is there. Faster than looking in Regedit Code: Microsoft Windows [Version 10.0.10166] (c) 2015 Microsoft Corporation. All rights reserved. C:\WINDOWS\system32>reg query "hklm\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsSelfHost\Applicability" HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\WindowsSelfHost\Applicability FlightingOwnerGUID REG_SZ EnablePreviewBuilds REG_DWORD 0x2 Ring REG_SZ WIF RingBackup REG_SZ WIS ThresholdRiskLevel REG_SZ low ThresholdOptedin REG_DWORD 0x1 BranchName REG_SZ TH1 UserPreferredBranchName REG_SZ TH1 C:\WINDOWS\system32>
That happened thru a patch yesterday. Everybody in TH1 now. Readying for the production roll out test I guess.
