    Hi im getting so frustrated i updated the bios of my acer 5742 to version 1.29(which i should have just left well enough alone) and now when i turn it on it has no display until i plug it into an external monitor then it works fine im tryin to figure a way to fix this but im not having any luck if somone can help me some way it would be soo appreciated thanks

    check missing driver in device manager or setting in Bios

    Set bios to default, maybe the flash was corrupted, download the bios flash file from the official website and try again that might help.

    Now you see why double posting is against the rules.. How you get yourself out of the double post mess is request that a moderator help you by closing one thread...The sooner the better
