right, except it makes your internet slow as heck when loading websites, this problem is all over their forums
Dear ian82, I don't know whether you face the same problem with KIS 2014 personally. I am using a low configuration PC with Windows 8.1 and KIS 2014 and I didn't face such problem till now. There is no slowing down. I want somebody to comment any application after using it personally. I am using Kaspersky Internet Security (KIS) from 2007. Till now I have not face any problem personally. I am a system Integrator by profession for the past 6 Years. All these years I have used KIS only as the security suite. All my clients (more than 2500) never request me to change it or neither I faced any problem with regard to KIS slowing down the internet. If at all, it will back fire on my profession and my recommendation. I live in India were internet speed is slow than most of other high speed internet countries. If such problem occurs it will be a problem for me. I have got request from all my clients for its renewal also in all theses years. Not even a single complaint nor anybody changed the security suite by themselves for facing such problem. Then coming to others in the KIS forum facing such problem, in this forum also, even after giving clear cut instruction of using any application (MDL projects like KMSpico, MTK etc.) we can see so many people complaining not working because of not following the instructions or by trying to fiddle with setting or not checking the compatibility. In KIS forum it has been advised to update the network driver to the latest. Thats all from me. Thanks, Manu
Lol I saw it running on my cousins system I am yet to have Windows 8.1 Failing on each try i make to update to Windows 8.1.
Ahahah, It all depends what porno sites your browsing because lets face it you only get viruses for foolishly clicking on ad's and downloading crap you've no clue about. You can use Win defender (it doesnt matter which AV except for them first day attacks, M$ is always up to date) And maybe get a malware fighter of some sort like IObit's, it does the job, with plenty of pro serials on youtube so get searching if you like it
well, atleast in my experiences I recommend COMODO Internet Security 7.0.317799.4142 FINAL (grab it on their forum). I have it running on 8 machines: 5 with win 7 sp1 and 3 with win 8.1 up1. all running great and no infections/problems at all.. ps.: these machines are from some clients of mine and my own with win 7..
