Alternatively, Firefox Nightly now has a sneaky option to use whatever search engine it has set in Windows too.
Because they are deeply stupid and fail to understand it even when it states flat out "we send voice and location and handwriting and all other personal info to ourselves". And this way, Google get to share in that lovely data too.
thanks dhjohns. I highly doubt Microsoft is "always listening". They just got a patent for a microphone with a hardware killswitch. It would also be too much data. They do probably store the voice clips you submit, but that's necessary for the recognition engine to get better. I think that's fair.
Wow, that's interesting considering Cortana is plenty fast and very useful on my PC. Sorry, your computer or internet must be slow. I do use and like 'Google Now' but Cortana is fine too, and will only get better.
