Been looking for a way to set the BIOS/UEFI on any motherboard to allow for more than 2gb of memory for the APU when more than enough ram is available. Forums keep telling me there shouldn't be an improvement but honestly I want to test this for myself. The old APU architecture from AMD did not have the horsepower for it, that was obvious. But this new Ryzen APU might, but I don't know how as the BIOS option only goes up to 2gb. I figured a modded BIOS might be needed. Is there anyone out there that can help me with this?
