Unable to install (Hazard's ISO Snow Leopard 10.6.1-10.6.2 Intel/AMD) in my PC (with AMD/Nvidia). But running successfully within Vmware Workstation 7.1.3. Works nice as I have dedicated 3GB ram to it. Virtualbox not working. Vmware Player also work. Need external boot-loaders BOOT-KABYL-BUMBY from *** ifile.it /mfj0sa5 (remove spaces)*** Works great.
Setup a Snow Leopard 10.6.8 hackintosh on a Dell desktop over the weekend. Use the iboot/multibeast method. Very easy on most intel chipset computers.
I had installed Mac OS X leopard on my Asus laptop....i used ideneb to install(fails with Kalyway) and what i know now: 1.Boot complete in about 5 min; 2.After first update will no longer see the keyboard; 3.Even update disabled...after a while or after restart i cannot use that keyboard anymore.

I did not get it to work cuz I jumped in it to fast. if I ask someone to make a custom .ktext on osx86 do you think anybody would do it?
Not really a headache if you have a gigabyte board, and use kakewalk boot manager, it was a peice of cake and ran so good I bought an Imac that I use now. Gave my pc away.
Sure he will and I'll even sell OP my old hackintosh airport card. x86wifi.blogspot.com/2010/04/how-to-build-your-own-real-airport-card.html built it exactly, and OS X says it is Airport...
Maybe you should try an OS X version that is more current. I have Snow Leopard (10.6.8)on my real imac and it's problem free. I was using win 7 and firewire kept locking it up, so I went fulltime to OS X. Even used Lion, but it has some flakey issues that cause hard freezes still, so back to snow leopard. I also use windows in bootcamp, and I'd say it's just as stable except firewire issues (which they don't care, or can't fix.)
Installed iATKOS V2 on gigabyte P35, core2duo e6750, 4GB ram, ide HD, nvidia 8600GT - works like a dream. Office for mac and adobe suite installed as well. Didn't recognize my wireless card but thats pretty old anyway - ethernet works np. Sound is realtek onboard.
I installed Mac OS X Snow Leopard on my Asus laptop with 90% success....The question is:CanI install Lion hackintosh or not on old laptops?
My laptop is Asus X51L BTW I don not know what motherboard is inside because no Windows is installed....only Snow Leopard...
