I have checked my firewall today, and have found that a ip is connecting to my computer from microsoft dublin. It has a https secure connection from what i can tell in my firewall records. I just say this as my firewall went awol yesterday and my motherboard would not see my hard drive without completely wiping the hard disk. Does Microsoft always connect to your computer, i have windows update turned off. here are the details 1113 eth0 ยป - TCP 213.199.133.40 tools 443(HTTPS) **.***.**.*** lookup block **.***.**.*** tools 49667 I was wondering why dublin microsoft is connecting to my computer and does anyone else in europe running windows 7 have this also in there records. I was just looking into this as like i said my firewall went awol yesterday. Any thoughts. Plus i have now blocked this ip of microsoft, do you know of any reason why i should unblock that ip address, and is it needed. I was always wondering what they do with these things, and anyone know?
Now its using 213.199.133.38 Anyone know what they do when they are connecting to you. Anyone else using windows 7 and they are connecting to you also in europe. Anyone.
If someone is using https, are they in my firewall, or on my computer securely. anyone here know what they would be doing, and using secure http, are they connecting to my firewall? Its coming from microsoft dublin, and its been on my computer all morning. I should of got my firewall records from yesterday, but my firewall stopped working yesterday like i said. Do you think if they are using https, they may be in my firewall. Plus why would microsoft dublin, be connecting all morning to my network. Is there anyway to know, which computer they connected to or if they connected to my firewall?
