I have checked my firewall today, and have found that a ip is connecting to my computer from microsoft dublin. It has a https secure connection from what i can tell in my firewall records. I just say this as my firewall went awol yesterday and my motherboard would not see my hard drive without completely wiping the hard disk. Does Microsoft always connect to your computer, i have windows update turned off. here are the details 1113 eth0 » - TCP 18.104.22.168 tools 443(HTTPS) **.***.**.*** lookup block **.***.**.*** tools 49667 I was wondering why dublin microsoft is connecting to my computer and does anyone else in europe running windows 7 have this also in there records. I was just looking into this as like i said my firewall went awol yesterday. Any thoughts. Plus i have now blocked this ip of microsoft, do you know of any reason why i should unblock that ip address, and is it needed. I was always wondering what they do with these things, and anyone know?
