    Direct from MS or w/e

I've been searching everywhere, I can find x64 but I need x86. Any help would be appreciated, thanks!

You can't, R2 is not available as x86, it is x64 only!

Oh really? That explains why it's so hard to find LOL. Guess I'll have to go with just 2008 and not R2. I wish I could just go 64-bit but it's for a leased server, and most lease companies are in the stone age, you have to pay at least a couple hundred bucks for something semi modern. Need to colocate one day...

It's just a marketing decision at Microsoft really. Windows 7 is available in 32-bit and 64-bit flavors, while Windows Server 2008 R2 is available for x64 and Itanium.

The same code is used to build all of them, so the decision to not provide a Windows 7 for Itanium or a 32-bit Server has to be the marketing folks telling the developers which compile flags they are allowed to use. Shame, I have a couple 32-bit boxes I would love to run 2008 R2 on.
