Please - so far, only three games (and no productivity applications) have failed in Windows 10 since 9841. Yes - you read that right. (That is why my Windows 8.1 partition is all of 80 GB.) I do most of my gaming - and ALL of my productivity computing - in either Windows 10 Enterprise 9926, or Pro 10036. The why is simple - it performs BETTER than 8.1 at it. (And no, the Start menu - or lack of it - isn't even an issue.)
I can't use my HDMI output on my laptop (on any Win10). Does not get detected, something with Intel GPU drivers. I managet to get it working on previous build by uninstalling intel drivers, till the update installs them again. Can't do it on 10036 thou Any way forcing HDMI? I7 with Nvidia 770M GTX.
i agree....but u dont use it as a primary box....MS issues have always been mainly security......if get compromised and u go to your job or a public network like star bucks and plug into the network u can infect the rest of the nodes their and a hacker will have more zombie computer to launch a bigger attacks on another infrastructure.....so basically violated the first rule in IT Security.
new windows update is a joke starting to feel like f***ing ios guess we're going to need jailbreak for windows 11
I use it as a Dual Boot. some issues, but basically it is OK, parts of 9926 are better, I dislike the Hidden stays hidden to add to taskbar is needed, still no charms, (this really pisses me off) I do not like the Start Menu (never have) and the transparent s**t is mostly damn annoying. the need to constant "index" on my Net is most F**** 10036. yes it is faster but many issues, still it is a BETA and LEAK not released. and has a very very long way to go....
One thing about us here on MDL - we have opinions - they are usually strong opinions - and we are more than willing to express them. This post submitted with respect to ALL here - even me -
ok now that the start menu was fixed and the metro apps all work yup my main os till a new build comes out
i will test it and if it runs better on my machines than build 9926, yes it will be my main os till the next build is released
Painter7 wrote this : ( run powershell as administrator ) 1. Unpin all bugged app from Start. 2. Get dev license: powershell -> Show-WindowsDeveloperLicenseRegistration 3. Check status: powershell -> Get-WindowsDeveloperLicense 4. Reset Store cache: Run -> wsreset 5. Open Store (green icon) go to %YouAccount% and restore Mail, Calendar & People.
Using it on HDD is #pita but on SSD it runs well, still a lot of stuttering sometimes, I think there's anything seriously wrong with the load balancing. Eventlog shows it all.
