Maybe installing the latest version of the driver for your sound-blaster sound card will solve the problem.
Have the same problem here with my creative card What i do is going into soundblaster z series control pannel and go then to speakers / headphones and switch between headphones and back and voila my sound is back
Done that of course. Soundblaster drivers seem to have issues with every new alpha/beta MS OS release. I was expecting it. And they are slow to update. Took them 6 months or so to actually release win 8 drivers after Win 8 was RTM.
That has worked a few times but not always. I have the essentially the same card. SB Recon 3d Professional. When you click playback devices, does the playback tab show or not show headphones? Just curious, as mine did before Win 10. Now it just shows Speakers for SB card.
Are there not issues since Windows-7 ? That's one of the reasons why I stopped buying sep. Soundcards.
Just installed Windows 10 Enterprise 9841 to my Macbook Pro 2011. Bootcamp works great. All my drivers are working so far.
yup click and explorer can mount it. quite simple and extremely useful. one of the few newer features that I do like.
yeah someone suggested it and requested it for me. I had little to do with it other than saying Thanks haha It works
I am still using Windows 10 Technical Preview as main OS and it is not as bad as expected it to be. I will keep installing applications and drivers to see to where it can hold up to or fail. All the drivers meant for my system Windows 8.1 work perfectly well at the moment.
Im not even using it as a 2nd OS -I think Ive lost the magic for pre-release OSs Installed it on real hardware as a main OS, played around for 15 mins, turned it off, never bothered turning it back on since Where's the magic gone ?
same here. I run it on a VM, turn it on sometimes and have no real fun with it like with earlier versions of windows. Since it is mostly like 8.1 I also cannot find the magic. Perhaps it will change my mind when RTM is due and there are real changes made both visible and under the hood.
Kind of feel the same way. I have 10 TP installed as a main OS on my laptop and desktop, but there's nothing really keeping me on this OS; aside from me just being lazy and not wanting to reinstall a different OS
It's since MS started with regular releases I think, when we had to wait 5 years for a leak it was much more exciting, and much more was changed from the previous OS - now it's just a lick of paint and some engine tweaks
Hahaha. The whole interest has faded away very quickly. Does that mean I am the only one still finding it interesting though?
You are not alone. I am here with you. Still on it and liking it (Except for a pesky bug that keeps resetting permission and logins on metro apps). O_O
