Tried the documented way and others to to get the d250 back to life by flashing the Kav files. (HP format utility and Wincris) using various small sd cards. Not able to find model or platform info in Winflash_KAV60107.exe file using wordpad, open office writer or hex editor. (Do not use word) Does anyone have the other file name for the D250. Flash starts but does not complete with the reader light on. The D250 was reformatted due to virus problem.
whats funny is that the SD card is not for flashing.. its a bug in these models that sometimes wont post if no sd card inserted.. empty or not ( u should read posts from links i gave u) another funny thing .. he thinks there is more than 1 file name to bios recover.
