I dont see anything major might be something in the actual changes to the reg that are adjusted, improper naming of a key possibly. things like that. also good to note, NO CHANGE has been made after the latest batch of updates from MS, all holding strong so far. All green and go
Does anyone know if "Disable Automatic Windows Updates' works on Windows 10 Home? I have tried everything I could find on this site and nothing has worked.
apply it and report back once you know, it would be appreciated. I haven't any HOME systems setup, so would be very nice to know
This new tool is fine and dandy, and very useful ( "but what about your ISP Internet Provider you think they don't snoop in what your device is doing by means of software and human live trained personal in looking into shady and interesting behaviour" ) This tool is fine and dandy regarding what M$ wants and is seeking, but M$ will throw a curve ball down the road and by pass any tool or tweak, they just add brand new front and side doors at anytime they wish... Your ISP is where its all happening regarding very big eyes and ears....
it's working just fine with my LTSB edition and if you don't want to do it manually with cmd/registry/gpedit, this tool is the only real option. OO is a big name, they stand for quality. but if you rather use software which maybe is harmful or from just some people which you don't know at all... then go for it. but for me it is too risky and this program here is just working perfectly with a nice gui. it was worth the wait and will last until "xpantispy w10 edition" is out.
When I install Windows 10 I expect it to do certain things. All of these are included in the OS. If I were to purchase a Ferrarri I would expect it to do certain things. Taking the telemetry out of Windows 10 is analogous to removing the engine from a car. It will be still nice to look at, but it won't be worth a damn!
my ISP sees me connected to a VPN and thats all they see, 1 connection to another address. Everything coming back from that VPN to me they see too, but its encrypted and they cannot decrypt it. Facts are facts on that. but for the normal user, sure their ISP sees everything coming and going. Not that most take any action on.
So you are waving the big "I am hiding, try to find out what I am doing" flag right in your ISP's face! LOL
Like I said before you saved the word again! " lets just leave it here, there are measures and tools and a red hotline from every provider when something is in question " Direct communication if needed by NSA and The Center for Internet Security, trust me if any device gets flagged at this level, your going to be a target
Thanks, I just hope it isn't yourself one night on the 11PM news someone somewhere is charged for this or that, and their Computers and Smartphones been sealed and removed from his or her property...as clearly you see or read about it every single day in your local media around your town
well, he has an agenda. Seems to have arrived around the time another member cried wolf and ran off, but thats ok. We will always have sheep listening to the wolves. But we will also have hunters who wear the wolves skin as a coat.
