So I bought this new RX 570 GPU to replace my previous one which was on its last legs... Went to do a fresh install of build 18362.30, everything went fine, except when I installed AMD's latest drivers, version 19.5.2... When the display driver install gets to 40% and the screen flickers (which is normal), the screen also turns a random weird color or a combination of weird colors... (most of the time it's bright red, but I've also seen purple, and green and purple) (not normal) A restart fixes the issue, but I'll occasionally see red flashes on the screen when logging in to Windows... Tried using earlier drivers, same problem. At First I thought I just got unlucky and my card was faulty... But the card works just fine on macOS (hackintosh), on Linux and on other Windows 10 releases (20H1 for example shows no issues...) Using Win10 v1803 (b.17134.799)... No weird display issues whatsoever.
run amd clean uninstall tool in safemode. reboot normal and go to device manager and uninstall ms graphics and restart. go to win updates check updates.. 5 mins u should be good to go.
