So, is it possible with another language or do I need to create the 21H2 LTSC in english and then download the desired language through windows update? Also, how to keep store and xbox components for gaming?
Finally, the rebuilt 19044.1288 was successfully updated by windows update. Rebuilt based on tips from: #5108 by huynhlam2 https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...struction-project.80939/page-256#post-1696806 If anyone is interested, here is the package (temporary link): [19044.1348_Pro_to_EntS_amd64].7z EXPIRED
Q: Why there is Enterprise LTSC desktop watermark for 19041.1 LTSC installation? 19041.1 SPP does not recongnize 19044 IoT Enterprise LTSC. Because 21H2 LTSC starts from 19044.1149.
Microsoft.HEIFImageExtension The HEIF Image Extension enables Windows 10 devices to read and write files that use the High Efficiency Image File (HEIF) format. Such files can have a .heic or .heif file extension. Images that are stored in HEIF files that have the .heic file extension are compressed using the HEVC format. Such files require the HEVC Video Extensions package to be installed as well. If the HEVC Video Extensions package is not installed, the HEIF Image Extension will not be able to read or write .heic files. Microsoft.VP9VideoExtensions Play VP9 videos in any video app on your Windows 10 device. VP9 is a popular video codec for streaming over the internet. These VP9 Video Extensions are designed to take advantage of hardware capabilities on newer devices. For devices that don’t have hardware support for VP9 videos, software support is provided, but the playback experience might vary based on the video resolution and device performance. These extensions also let you encode VP8 and VP9 content on devices that don’t have a hardware-based video encoder. Microsoft.WebMediaExtensions The Web Media Extensions package extends Microsoft Edge and Windows 10 to support open source formats commonly encountered on the web. By installing this Media Extension package, users will be able to natively play content delivered in the OGG container or encoded using the Vorbis or Theora codecs. Once installed, this extension is automatically used by both web sites and apps with no user action required. Simply install and play new content in Microsoft Edge and apps today! Included Technologies: • OGG Container Parser • Vorbis Decoder • Theora Decoder Microsoft.WebpImageExtension The WebP Image Extension will enable you to view WebP images in the Windows 10 Microsoft Edge browser. WebP is a modern image format that provides lossless and lossy compression for smaller, richer images on the web. Personally I don't think I will need them so I remove them https://forums.mydigitallife.net/th...struction-project.80939/page-271#post-1703539
If the goal is to create an ISO that's 1:1 replica of how LTSC will be on release, then even If I don't need the packages I still would want to have them just so It's exactly same as MSFT. OCD thoughts ig
LTSC 2019 WindowsApps folder is empty. Do we know what packages LTSC 2021 has? When we finally get our hands on LTSC 2021 VERY SOON we won't need to reconstruct it any longer
Can't wait I'll install it and be done for life While LTSC normal edition has 5 years of updates, I wonder If we can simply manually download the KBs from IOT LTSC and install them on normal LTSC? That would mean we can give normal LTSC 5 more years of updates like IOT LTSC (10 years)? 21H2 updates are same in LTSC and IOT LTSC (same file)...
You mean 3 years when the next LTSC comes out But we'll most probably be reconstructing the next LTSC again before it comes out
There are those doing it with older builds. But then the 5 year support doesn't make a difference for those who always install the latest LTSC anyways
What are chances that this is last Windows 10 LTSC? What If the next LTSC is Windows 11 and no more 10.... I think it would be kind of dumb for another LTSC to release since there won't be any major changes to Windows 10 as It's in maintanence mode and now MSFT is focusing on 11. 19041 build will be probably last one...
