Weird. 25398.887, Yarrak31 can dive for so long. Why?

Two of Yarrak31's headaches:
1. Settings - mismatched language
2. WinX menu - missing Product policy

 

for all we know they may release 26100 Server at Build

 

A modern stand-alone version of Nanoserver would be a great project. Why to get it from Azure VM ?

 

My only problem is that I cannot upgrade to the new version because of these missing language files.

Listen carefully: To do zero error 25398 Reconstruction, ask zwl29107 to repack 25398.1 packages with 26100 LTSC licenses. If 25398.1 language packs are also included, perfect.

Yes, but unless you have modded lcu files, the settings will always crash because I don't use English.

 

Or for friends like me who want to use it in a different language, we will need your lcu files.

 

But what I don't understand is this While gallium language packs work smoothly up to version 469, I don't understand why the settings crash in versions 763, 830, 887.

 

Do we need to see that movie each month for the next 3/4 years until the official support ends?

It's an unofficial SKU, taken together with chewing gum, It's unavoidable that updates will break things with time.

Even if may update is fixed there is no guarantee that june's will work

there is no guarantee that @zwl29107 @gailium119 or whoever else have the will and/or the time to fix updates

there is no guarantee they don't make mistakes, no matter how skilled and careful they are.

So just enjoy your windows, make a backup copy of the vhd before you try to update anything, so you can go back with one click. and live with that.

or, if you want to have a slightly better chance of not having breakage with updates, just use the server, so only the non GUI components will be updated and the official MSU will work (hopefully) w/o any need to be patched.

And be sure that your PC won't melt because you are one month back, I'm using Win8 Release preview /Server2012 RC (6.1.8400) and Server 2016 TP4 (10586) w/o any problem, and w/o catching any malware
