xinso, would you please explain me, why I may face a problem with instaling updates on 25398.1 Client Pro en-us.

A: Yes, if en-US Pro SKU. Because, for Client, official CU supports en-US Pro SKU only.
Professional, Education, Enterprise, IoTEnterprise, ProfessionalCountrySpecific, ProfessionalEducation, ProfessionalSingleLanguage, ProfessionalWorkstation, ServerRdsh, CloudEdition

But yet I face Error: Error: 0x800f081f during applying LCU

Defender updates installed from WU, no LCU were found, I downloaded manually. Error installing. Manually updated SSU and retried - same error.
Would you give me some idea, where should I look in?

A1:
25398.1 is made by gailium119.
25398.X CU is made by zwl29107.

They are different in LTSC structure. Therefore,
If en-US Pro, supported by offficial CU. No problem.
Otherwise, CU will potentially fail.

Q: How to solve?
A: 25398.1 and CU made by same person. And both must support "WinX" menu.

A2:
I have no idea about it. For me, if en-US Pro, no problem with any CU format.

Thank you for an idea, would try.
It is fr-FR by default. Does that mean, I need a fr-FR install.wim to start, or any language is OK, as we add LanguagePack?

And what was a big idea behide making fr-FR, if it can't update with unmodified CU, while en-US potentially can?

 

Does WinRE face limitations of 1-hour before reboots and/or running certain types of apps?
Can I use WinRE as DISM station (without reboots, with ability to run wimlib and similar utilities)?

 

A1: No. You just replace all fr-FR packages with target ones.
A2: WinRE is "Package" , not "Edition. No time-Bomb. And we just use its Servicing components to constrcut new image.

I have made both EN and RU lot of times, but never was able to achieve same result as you, - getting an updatable version (meaning non-custom LCUs).

Can you create a Vietnamese version of Windows 11 22621/22631 that boots to the desktop?
I can create it but it won't boot to the desktop, it's a BSoD error.
Maybe because Windows can't find the boot file path because the name is Vietnamese

 

Can somebody explain me what this command do and why it is need?

It the executes file *.xml of current image mounted in Windows folder
%MT% = mount
%CURREN% = Image folder proccessing (e.g: Professional.xml)
