Keeping this comment for PS and Progress: FD44 Editor seems not to work with this image. I found out i need Aptio tools version 4 instead of V. I was able to back up the BIOS with afuefi32 (EFI Shell needed) from an other Asus m80ta tablet . Currently trying to combine the non-bios part of original spi dump with bios part of other-tablet dump. Using `(dd if=spidump ibs=1 count=$((0x300000)) && dd if=other_tablet) > combined.bin` It worked!! FreeDOS solution did not work for me/this tablet, since I don't know how to switch from UEFI boot to BIOS boot. Could the USB mode influence this? (XHCI, EHCI) Watch out, you cannot use AFUWIN/LNX/DOS/EFI on a non AMI Aptio machine... Why does the BIOS Verification in AFUEFI somebios /D expect to be on a machine that actually has an accessible aptio chip?! Why should I not be able to verify a bios on my working non-ami computer?!
