A power supply, a keyboard, a mouse, and a monitor. The mouse is optional, but nice just to see if the port works. You can put the Mobo on a table (put a newspaper under it to insulate it if necessary.) Make sure that -all- of the power supply cables are correctly connected. A missing +12V rail will keep the MoBo from coming up. (This one got me. ) If you have more that one stick of RAM, then start with one stick. Just to make sure that the timing is set correctly. (Asus is -notorious- for their auto timing sensing routines failing with more than 1 stick of RAM.) And that's about all I can think of. Oh, and hook up a speaker, just to listen for BIOS beep codes.
