ASUS P8H61-MX USB 3 - Advice on BIOS

    I have an Asus P8H61MX_USB3 And i am wondering if somebody can help me before i post a Mod request.

    It only has 1 CPU fan and 1 3 Pin motherboard header, Downside is the 3 pin is stuck at 60% contantly, and I would love to know if it is possible to modify the bios Limits on Chassis Fan?

    As an Example :
    Chassis Fan Upper Limit 100% to 50%
    Chassis Fan Lower Limit from 60% to say 20/40%

    Also AHCI isn't enabled by default and can sometimes revert back to IDE > AHCI randomly.
    Is it possible to mod the BIOS to have AHCI enabled default and not IDE?

    Replace the cmos battery (CR-2032) and check if the settings now keep.

    That's an Aptio4 bios. You could use AMIBCP v4.55 to make mods. Have a search in the bios tools section. Not sure about flashing modded files on Asus...

    Replaced it with 2 brand new Duracell. Also replaced 2 caps.

    It holds settings until you unplug the PSU long enough for the caps to discharge.
