So is it safe to mod an ASUS P8Z77-V Pro Bios v1206 with the newest Phoenix-Tool 2.09? Do i have to make any changes in the advanced options or can i just use the tool as it is (method: dynamic)? And can i use bupdater to flash in dos? Many thanks
Thanks carola for the BIOS Link. Ive downloaded a fresh BIOS from ASUSTeK (Deluxe and PRO Boards have different BIOS) to reproduce it like the modded one but ive failed. The modded BIOS you've linked is named with SLIC2. Do you have any more information about the mod/modder or perhaps you have a link to his post? Many thanks and greets
Hi , I need help after reboot windows disappears activation.Сhanged at xsdt , rsdt Motherboard ASUS P8Z77-V PRO Used Phoenix Tool 2.09 Bios 1206 Мetho Dynamic Sorry for bad English
I just thought I'd say that I was able to successfully activate Windows 7 Ultimate (EFI install, using GPT partition table - hence why Daz's loader wasn't an option) by using PhoenixTool to mod the 1504 version of the BIOS. Used "ASUS" manufacturer and SLIC, along with an ASUS certificate and key I had lying around from nononsence's WindSLIC bootmgr patch.
Any chance someone can add SLIC 2.1 to the Asus P8Z77-V (non-deluxe version) 1606 BIOS. That would be greatly appreciated. Here's the link to the original 1606 BIOS for the Asus P8Z77-V: ***.mediafire.com/?j6vudn2u45u2ghu OR ca.asus.com/en/Motherboards/Intel_Socket_1155/P8Z77V/#download

Hi all, I tried adding a slic to the newest P8Z77-V Pro BIOS, but ez flash complains about "security verification failed" Tools used: phoenixtool 2.12 (manufacturer: ASUS, slic file: asus, with rw everything report, dymanic mode) rw everyhing 1.5.3.7 Original BIOS: h**p://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/mb/LGA1155/P8Z77-V_PRO/P8Z77-V-PRO-ASUS-1805.zip Any suggestions? Thanks

In newer phoenixtool versions these options are already correctly checked, but ezflash still complains about failed verification. Actually, I ended up using dynamic mode (which replaces the existing 2.0 slic table) and flashing via USB bios flashback. Providing or not a RW everything report produces binary identical files. If you dump your flash with FTK you can also use DMI method on your dumped image, is this mod permanent? Anyone tried if it works?
