And my Acer Switch 10 CoreConnected would upgrade to Windows 10 Home. BUT NOT activated anyhow. That is why I used 10130 to get free Windows 10 Pro.
Already tried that a few times : 1. Boot via usb stick choose to win 10 pro, choose UPDATE, and got the error message : Compatibility Report The computer started using the windows installation media bla..bla...blaa... And the option is CLOSE button 2. Fresh install, delete ALL partition Paste the Ticket Activate and Error 0xC004C003 3. Within win 7 ult I extract the win 10 pro ISO and double click the setup.exe Same result as no.2 What should I do?
Already read this yesterday on some web and ended with MS support giving just Home key cause he check the OEM key is for Home Yes I already did that
My HDD is 500gb from factory And yes the Win 8.1 default use this GPT I already delete ALL partition and set to MBR then install win 7 Now when I boot to win 10 and try to choose fresh install again it says On EFI windows 10 only install on GPT yikes.. And strangely my usb stick can only boot to UEFI {usb name} If i choose boot the one {usb name} without UEFI the win 10 setup give BSOD memory_management and restart
Did you create the USB with Rufus with the MBR option? I know it has UEFI for CSM lumped with it, just don't understand why you do not have that option during install.
I'm using Windows 7 USB DVD Download Tool to create bootable usb stick With the add of bootsect.exe on the folder from Win 7 x86 ISO Right now I doing upgrade from within win 7 ult Extract win 10 pro ISO And double clicking setup.exe within
I'm building bootable with rufus now So in BIOS I must choose boot with UEFI or without UEFI? *edit I choose without UEFI and get BSOD memory_management So I choose UEFI {usb stick name}
Without - you need to keep bios as much like Win7 as possible - some bios changes affect the HWID - better to be safe.
Oh well... where did you get that bios from? Win10 x86 will not boot to UEFI, AFAIK - if x86 worked with Win7 then maybe that's an option...
