Hey As the title says, the damn laptop cant boot from PXE or USB. I need some serious help! * Latest UEFI. Secure boot control and Fast Boot are both disabled! * I cant find CSM anywhere * I tried two USB-drives which are working in Windows and recognized by UEFI. I cant choose it as boot device * I tried both USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports *I can PXE/USB boot another laptop, a VM and my gaming computer without problems. A quick message pop ups and it returns to UEFI, i cant see what it says. Boot option is "UEFI PXE Boot IPv4" I guess I can format it and create a bootable partition on the drive and put it back in the laptop but its some work Id rather skip. Any ideas?? EDIT EDIT: I recorded a slowmo video of the PXE boot and found that there is a TFTP error Exact MSG: Station IP address is 192.168.1.33 Server IP address is 192.168.1.10 NBP filename is boot\x64\wdsmgfw.efi NBP filesize is 0 bytes PXE-E23: Client recieved TFTP error from server
Maybe it's a bug in the BIOS. Are there any BIOS updates for the laptop? The other possibility is to downgrade the BIOS to a previous version.
its updated to the latest but it was the same issues with previous version installed. I added the error message when trying to PXE boot in my first post..
