bk109, you are right we need to force Windows to Install through the option "Let me Pick" also I don't know if it works, but after the installer unpacks all the files to the C:\AMD folder, you cancel the installation and rerun the setup.exe through the compatibility mode for Windows 7, and it installs the driver, but then again it also installs all the crap from ATI, so to me the best solution is to somehow force the installation of only the driver
Really? So you've got TuneIn/other streaming audio Metro apps working with the 13.1 driver? I'm checking,because the OP explicitly stated that he had problem with Metro and the 12.6/13.1 catalyst pack and not with normal (ie Desktop) graphics.
True, the problem is not being compatible with Windows 8, the problem is that every app that needs streaming, doesn't work, Josh Cell, try to run the camera app, or install the youtube app available on the Windows 8 store to see what happens, it doesn't work
