I would like to be notified by e-mail when our DHCP server is running low on addresses (Win2k8 R2). From what I read "Attach Task to This Event" in Event Viewer will do the trick.
My fear is that when this happens and 100s of events are generated I will receive hundreds of e-mails. Is there a more intelligent way of doing this? Can I get the "Attach Task to this Event" to send on specified intervals so I can cut down the number sent to me?

    Thanks

If your it department can afford it id recommend looking at SolarWinds IPAM or the built in IPAM in server 2012
