As sam said, it's your iso program, the script doesn't happen until windows is installed, use poweriso or ultraiso. Also, nero7 always made corrupted install disks.
I used PowerISO and saved it with the folder in it, but it froze after the save and the light in the corner was still on red. Eventually it turned green and I checked the ISO - it had the files in it.
Try UltraISO, it sounds that PowerISO is having a hard time doing the job. I bet that the ISO gets corrupt right when your PC froze mate. I have to rebuild my PC but when I get that pre-installed ISO uploaded it will be a lot easier, trust me mate.
Hi Sam, I use a command version of ultraiso to unpack the Win7 iso, a winrar SFX to inject the $OEM$ folder, then oscdimg.exe to rebuild the iso, using etfsboot.com as the bootfile, works every time, all without user intervention from a batch file. Ultraiso doesn't need to be installed, it's in the SFX. I'm very willing to help this project, if you're interested.
Yea, sure. More help would actually be great mate. Thanks for your help. Right now I am on standby because my pc needs to be rebuild.
Hi Sam, Could be my end, but there seems to be crc check failures in parts 10, 13 & 16... Can anyone else confirm... as i say, could be just my end. ttfn sadsack
I don't know for sure but I have to re-upload all the parts because I lost them when my HDD crashed mate. Just use the first link and make the ISO yourself for the time being.
I use 7-zip to extract the files from win7 Isos. Build AIO. Put the $OEM$ in sources. Then dumb everything onto a bootable USB stick (4gb). It works perfectly and you can also add files to C drive upon installed Windows by droping files into $1 folder (create if not exist) inside $OEM$ old trick from xp era. (save me time to copy/download installers - firefox, win7 loader, winrar, codecpack etc.)
Whatsup? .. I tried 2 apps to costumize my win7 Ultimate 32bit dvd, integrated updates, LPs and tweaked it little bit.. (first app was to integrate stuff, second to tweak it) I also did some services tweaking (turned them off) and i then tried it in virtalbox, but it woudnt activate, so im whondering if this kit depends on some services ? I also tried copy the same iso again (the one only with ms updates and LPs) and that worked fine but not when the services turned off..
Thanks for the reply Hazar Lets see if not disabling them will work, but im fairly sure i didnt turn them off
Can i remove the bootloader itself and just leave the option for the certificates alone? as my computers are all bios modified, as i don't like using loaders
Probably pretty quick dude. I am just finishing rebuilding my pc after it crashed. It is kinda hard to do it right away because of Work so I had to put the project on standby mate. It should be up though soon.
I am not sure on that one dude. Your MoBo is probably not supported yet, a new version should fix that for you though. My advise would be to give Daz's 7loader a try. In my opinion it is the best one out there.
