Oh crap. Nice reply. Thanks for the information, I am really not to familiar with that tool I just know you can integrate Keys into ISO files so I assumed that you can do the same with XP. My mistake. Thanks for the save though lol >)
@ sam3971, you should start reading the xp thread still lots of peeps out there using it and the DMI Boot CD is a god send you wouldn't believe how many M8's machines iv'e had to work on that were running VLK version that got validation knocked out. But I just made Multi XP oem dvd with integrated drivers two mins with the tattoo cd then install xo oem job done and no risk not like a bios flash which may but not a lot go wrong. P.S. HP xp OEM cd would do also.
Thats true, I really never had to read up on XP too much, I run it on dual boot but my copy is a real legal volume license so there was really no worry for me to activate it or anything like vista/win7. I will do that then.
He wouldn't need to make it hidden if he just ran the commands from inside SetupComplete.cmd HINT: SetupComplete.cmd is run hidden. Install.bat is not. But if Sam wants, he can choose to call Install.bat from invisible.vbs like this Invisible.vbs Code: CreateObject("Wscript.Shell").Run """" & ".\Install.bat" & """", 0, False
LOL, quit messing with him, you know that'll pop up a minimized window in the bottom corner. Sure it starts minimized, but it is still noticeable.
Thanks Mr. Jinje Yea the setupcomplete might be hidden but not the darn install.bat windows. So do i add the .vbs code to setupcomplete.cmd or the install.bat file? Sorry im still trying to learn more bout this
I am not sure as of yet, I have been pretty busy lately so it is hard to get on these things right now.
I have tried to do it, and i have got it to work once windows is loaded (ie clicking on the BAT file) but still no success when it is intagrated into the DVD.
How did you integrate it into the DVD? It should work if you put it in the right folder dude if the script works when you run it manually.
Ya thought the same thing but it does not work. I was wondering if server r2 even calls the OEM folder, as i do not see any black screen come on and the key does not even change.
Its not very hard to put it in the right folder. Open iso or windows 7 folder, go to "sources" and paste the $OEM$ there..
When can we expect an update??? Sorry for bugging just that all I need to do for my AIO 7/server DVD is get the server acti. working and it will be done.
Hopefully pretty soon but I do not have an exact date for releasing the update. It got put on standby cause some Piece of SH$% virus messed up my Harddrive partition information resulting in formatting the damn thing so I have to backtrack to get my computer back up and running again.
