Yea thats what i ment, its like you said, set up the same as vista in intall.bat and vista wasnt activated..
Yea, I have to fix it. I think I might have actually uploaded the wrong version lol. If so I can fix that in a minute lol. Sorry about that.
Hey dude, try downloading it now. Like I said I realized I packed the wrong version into the archive. I have updated the link with the new version that should work since it query's a different spot in the registry for both vista and server 2008. Thanks and sorry for the mixup lol. BTW just to clear it up I only changed the beta link. The other link is what it should be
Still same problem.. But i do have "grldr" in root of c:\ According to slic dump toolkit, its all green and shiny. Asus slic even though vmware has compaq slic 2.1 and partial key is; rcg7p-tx42d.hm8fm-tcfcw but slp 1.0 tab says compaq... Starting to think this s**t reads my real computers bios
Sorry for the mixup. I just fixed the link for the readme. I think it is a different version then the one that is one it and it is based off of the beta build but the installer method works on all builds since they all work the same. Enjoy.
I do not know if this is possible, but is it possible for your installer/script to install the key that is corresponding to the cert.? I mean first it would scan and install the cert, then, lets say it installed the HP cert, then it would install the HP key? And for PCs that does not have a corresponding key/cert, you can just use the Acer or HP key/cert combo. Is this possible?
I suppose that is possible but I would have to remake the script and tweak it a lot. Right now it only installs a key that matches the appropriate version of windows. You can easily change that using the "slmgr.vbs -ipk" command. If there is a way to query the certs then I can do it but I am not sure if that is really possible.
If it would be possible i think that would be a really good idea for this script as maybe a way microsoft could catch users who use this script is the mismatch of key to cert. So if the script was made to match the cert with the corrasponding key, then it would make it REALLY hard for microsoft to catch people . think abotu it LOL Merry christmas
lol, that is true but at this time I do not know how to query certificates so I think I may be at a loss lol. Merry Christmas back though.
Have it check bios and copy certificates and install key to that. How hard is that? No offence or so, im really whondering Merry christmas / god jul!
Well honestly I still have to learn more how all that works before. I think it can be done with help but I cannot say how long it will be. I will probably talk to secr9tos after he releases uODIN R2 to help me out though.
NP dude, I cannot say when I will be able to talk to him so it may be awhile. If you can still test the new script with either Vista or Server R2/2008 that would be great too though.
oh lol, that sucks though. If you need direct links I can either give you some or you can simply google too though lol.
I can say it does work with Server R2 enterprise and 7 ulti. 86. Now if you can talk to that guy and get that script to the new way, then we all would be set . Thanks anyways good sir
