The VGC-RB34G download page shows the same file name "INBSYS-00862210-US.EXE" as the VGC-RB30 download page, so it appears the bios is the same for those two models. The _Slic_Sony versions are almost identical-- only 4 checksum bytes are different and they add up to the same thing. So you can flash either one. You don't need to do both. The preferable way to flash it is from DOS with iflash63.exe.
In Everest you looked under Motherboard-ACPI? It's unusual for SLIC not to appear with ISA mod, but the bios can be modded lots of ways, so if ISA doesn't work we can try a different method. (Too late for me tonite, but I'm sure someone will have another one for you to try soon!)
