How did you flash. @Bios will not flash it. You need to flash from dos with flashspi. Did you clear cmos and load defaults after the flash. This is important.
I did not use @Flash but used QFLASH which is a DOS program and no, I did not clear out the CMOS because my manual said that the QFLASH automatically updates the files in CMOS and there was no need to clear CMOS. Ok, I just downloaded, extracted and installed files to make my USB flash utility to be bootable from DOS and I am going to attempt to flash my bios in that manner. And this time, I will clear out CMOS as you suggested. What are the commands that I need to use in DOS to flash my bios?
Flashspi biosname.f9 (biosname is the name of the bios on your flash drive. You need to put all of the files on it..) I think a manual reset is best, maybe before you flash again??
What is a manual reset and how do I do it? Does manual reset mean to shut down computer, unplug the cord and take out the battery for 15 - 20 minutes and then replace it and put back cord and reboot computer?
This, or there has to be a jumper on the board. Look in the manual on the jumper schematic and see where it is. Unplug the computer and do as it says in the manual. Either remove the jumper, or move it to cover different pins. I can help you later, I am busy now and cant download the manual. Give me a link.. You should know how to do this anyway..its good practice..
Thanks....I got it and am about to do that now....I just checked the manual and it said to clear CMOS, I must shut down machine, remove power cord and remove the battery and wait 15 - 20 minutes and restore everything..... I am about to do that now.
