Works by me urie. One last question, on the outside chance that I bork the flash, hwo can I go about recovering if I don't have a floppy? Will the USB ports still boot? Or will I have to bite the bullet and go buy a throwaway floppy drive?
Thanks for the very quick turnaround, and all the help too!

Hmmmmmm, so if it tanks I have a really expensive air-soft target board, eh? In your vastly superior experience, is it worth taking the flash route? Or should I just go the 'loader' route? (I am moderate-to-"junior expert" computer user. I've flashed BIOS before I've just never tinkered with them beforehand.)

I'd flash it if the tool showed no errors. Flash per asrock guidelines..

There is a HP SLIC in the ACPITBL.bin module which is INCOMPLETE. Even though you see that it is useless. The SLIC that is added as 'nocompress' 0+2 method is HP SLIC 2.1

I don't see an issue since you have activated Vista. Once WIN7 is out and if there are issues report back and we can take a look at this again.

    Hope this helps. :D
