Look at the slic code..You will need to dump the slic with RWeverything, acpiscope, maybe everest will show you..
Dumb question for Andyp, 911Medic, Yen, etc. or any other bios mod master. The bios that Chat requested already has a 2.0 SLIC within the FC module (as per the warning popup). Is it safe to simply click "Yes" and continue on to add a 2.1 SLIC & SLP or do I risk bricking the board? Using the AMI SLIC Mod v.1.22. Since I accidentally quoted Chat when doing a mod for someone else, I'd like to mod his for him if possible, since it does not look like anyone else has. Just want to help you guys out with mod requests when possible, but don't want to kill any boards. I have seen you guys say to NOT mod a bios that is already modded & has SLIC/SLP added, however this is an original bios w/2.0 SLIC. Do the tools remove the old SLIC or rename it, etc? Or is this a no-go requiring a bios master to disassemble, remove 2.0 module and re-compile with new 2.1 SLIC module? Any knowledge is greatly appreciated.
