Ga-p35-ds3 Just a note to everyone. I have double checked and the bios for a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3 for version 1 and 2 are the same. Seeing there is now a version 1 F11 (newest) bios for the board it will also work on the version 2.
You can try a bios recovery. 1. Rename the desired AMI BIOS file to AMIBOOT.ROM and save it on a blank floppy disk. e.g. Rename 12345678.ROM to AMIBOOT.ROM 2. Insert this floppy disk in the floppy drive. Turn On the system 3. If no floppy access occurs press and hold Ctrl-Home to force update. 4. When 4 beeps are heard you may remove the floppy disk. 5. Restart the computer.
Best you try the method Fzeven described. But I would suggest to do the recovery with an original BIOS first, and then you can flash it with a modded one, sounds more secure in this way... And when your Board is bricked, the ASRock Support sends new BIOS Chips to you for some $, but you have to tell if its worth that for such a low budget board. I just checked it out, both BIOS files you can download on asrock.com are the same, just with a different filename, so there must be something gone wrong during flash.
